ChartFM's music discovery game
Inspired by the old MTV Push, which launched artists to the wider public: here, every round, each participant submits an unknown track. Submissions stay hidden until everyone has listened and ranked them. Only then is it revealed who submitted what. Whoever scores the most points wins.
How it works
How scoring works
Your song earns points from each listener, based on the position they gave it in their own ranking: taking 1st place from someone earns 20 points, and the value drops on a smooth curve down to 1 point for last place. Every listener's points for the round are added up at the end.
Skipping the round isn't neutral: every participant who doesn't submit a ranking gives a +20 point bonus to every other song in the round, an incentive for everyone to listen and vote.
