Child safety standards

1. Commitment
ChartFM does not allow child sexual abuse or exploitation. That includes child sexual abuse material (CSAM) and grooming. Anyone who posts, requests, stores, or shares this kind of content loses their account. The content is removed.
2. What is prohibited
This is prohibited on ChartFM, on the website and in the app:
- Posting, sending, requesting, or storing images, videos, text, or links of sexual abuse of children or adolescents
- Sexualizing minors, including in drawings, edits, or text
- Grooming, blackmailing, or seeking sexual contact with anyone who is or appears to be under 18
- Helping someone else do any of the above
3. How to report
Anyone with an account can report a profile or a post from inside ChartFM, on the website and in the app. On a profile, open the actions menu and choose Report. In communities, reporting is also on the post itself. There is a specific reason for child sexual abuse or exploitation. Use that reason in those cases.
- On the website: the three-dot menu on the other person's profile, then Report
- In the app: the same menu on the profile or on that person's feed card
- In communities: Report on the post

4. How we handle reports
Child safety reports are reviewed before other reports. The team reads the case, takes the content down when the report is confirmed, and closes the account of the person who posted it.
- The report is stored and only the moderation team can read it
- Confirmed content is removed and the account is closed, without prior notice in these cases
- The person who reported does not need to follow the process. The review is not public
- A false child safety report can also lead to action against the account that sent it
5. Authorities
When we confirm child sexual abuse material, besides removing the content and closing the account, we refer the case to the competent authorities in Brazil, as required by the Child and Adolescent Statute. We may also use channels such as Disque 100 and SaferNet. ChartFM complies with the child safety laws that apply to the service.
6. Age
ChartFM is not directed at children under 13. If we find an account belonging to someone below that age, the account is closed. Sexual exploitation of any minor, including ages 13 to 17, remains prohibited and follows the same treatment on this page.
