Chaos and the Calm é um daqueles álbuns que conseguem ser intensos e delicados ao mesmo tempo. A produção, as letras e principalmente a voz do James Bay criam uma atmosfera que faz o disco parecer muito mais pessoal do que simplesmente uma coleção de músicas. O álbum tem momentos grandiosos, mas são justamente as faixas mais vulneráveis que mais me atingem. “Incomplete” é, para mim, o coração do disco — uma música que traduz aquela sensação de que alguma coisa está faltando, sem precisar transformar isso em exagero. E talvez seja essa a grande força de Chaos and the Calm: ele fala sobre sentimentos enormes de uma maneira extremamente humana.
