Official Disk MTV playlist (Top 20)

The Disk MTV community video chart, mirrored on Spotify

Disk MTV is a ChartFM community whose official chart requires a music video. It is not enough for the song to exist in the catalogue: to count in the community sum, the track needs evidence of an official music video inside the age limit defined on the site (up to one year relative to the reference date).

The official Spotify playlist mirrors that week's official community chart. The address is fixed; the tracks are replaced when the community edition is published and sync runs.

The list lives on ChartFM's official profile (https://open.spotify.com/user/31cltms7ljqqkaktslykzmyvgxqu). Following the profile and sharing the playlist is the most direct path to hear Disk MTV's Top 20 without building the order by hand.

Why Disk MTV differs from the other playlists

Genre Top 50s filter the whole site by tag. The UCC aggregates Hit Parade without requiring a video. Disk MTV aggregates only that community's members and also applies the music-video rule.

In practice, a track can score high on the Global 100 and still stay out of Disk MTV if it fails the video criterion. The official playlist reflects that narrower universe.

The official chart's typical size is Top 20, not Top 50. The playlist follows that community scale, limited to tracks with a Spotify link.

What counts as an eligible video

The community code accepts music-video or YouTube release date evidence, or an official clip record with a youtubeId, as long as the date fits the maximum 365-day window.

A link with no release date at all does not pass, because the site cannot validate age. A video that is too old also stays out, even if the song remains strong on personal charts.

That rule applies in Disk MTV's official chart aggregation. It does not redefine the Global 100 or the genre Top 50s.

How the chart becomes a playlist

Members publish charts. ChartFM aggregates eligible charts under the community rule, publishes the week's official chart and, in the sync for communities with an official playlist, rewrites the Spotify tracks in that chart's order.

After the week's deadline, the published official chart freezes. Joining the community later or republishing outside the cutoff does not rewrite the closed edition. The playlist follows the matching synced edition.

How to use it if you are a member

Publish the chart the community reads, with tracks that have an eligible video. There is no second “Disk MTV only” list: the sum uses the member chart under the community rules.

If your song disappears from the playlist, check video eligibility, whether the chart entered the week, whether the track reached the official Top 20, and whether a Spotify ID exists for sync.

How to use it if you only want to listen

Open the playlist and hear the synced edition's Top 20. For points, movement and group discussion, use /community/disk-mtv.

Disk MTV also appears in videoparada contexts in the product; the Spotify playlist is the audio shortcut for the official chart, not the full YouTube video package.

Official profile and sharing

Every official playlist, including Disk MTV's, lives at https://open.spotify.com/user/31cltms7ljqqkaktslykzmyvgxqu. Following the profile and sharing the playlist helps anyone who likes new videos find the community Top 20 without memorising the slug.

Frequently asked questions

Is the playlist a Top 50?
No. Disk MTV runs as a Top 20 on the community's official chart. The playlist mirrors that scale, with a possible cut if Spotify URIs are missing.
Do I need a video to listen to the playlist?
No. The video rule applies for a song to enter the community sum. Listening to the public playlist only needs Spotify.
Can a video older than one year enter?
Under Disk MTV's current rule, the video release must sit inside the 365-day window relative to the reference date. Outside that, the track is not eligible in aggregation.
Is this the same playlist as Top 50 Pop?
No. They are different aggregations. Pop filters the site by tag; Disk MTV aggregates the community with a video rule.
Where do I see the full week table?
On the Disk MTV community page on ChartFM. The playlist only delivers the order for listening.
